In my current work I use reclaimed materials to produce color fields, stripes, and patterns. I draw inspiration from the visual composition of language, repetition of music, and the rhythms of machines. The Slat Painting series repurposes landfill-bound wood and latex paint from my work site. The compositions investigate the way colors react to one another.
