Tessa Turner is a singer-songwriter from Urbana, Illinois. She has performed in both Champaign-Urbana and Chicago for almost a decade. She has performed at public events such as the Illini Marathon, the Champaign-Urbana Singer-Songwriter Festival, and for Ascension Performing Arts in Chicago.

Tessa enchants crowds with her voice while she plays the guitar or ukulele. Whether it’s her dynamic vocals or her elegant songwriting, she is sure to grab your attention. Her song-writing is inspired by the complexity of the human experience. With her original music, she aims to capture both the joy and the darkness of life that we all inevitably face. Tessa is also known for playing cover songs from a wide variety of genres, including folk rock, modern pop, r&b, and hip hop. She is dedicating 2019 to working on new original music as well as her first album.
