Tim Summerville at the Meadowbrook Interpretive Center (MIC)

Tim Summerville’s welded steel sculpture titled “Life on the Prairie” is the inspiration for over 60 2D works of art by young artists from the district’s SPLASH program.

Tim will be on hand for an open house showing his works and process for welding large-scale steel sculptures.

Live Demo: Sculptor Tim Summerville will create a lizard using steel, heat, and oxy-acetylene welding. Visitors can watch him freehand form a small steel rod into shape and finish by welding.

Saturday, April 13: Noon to 3pm

Parking is at the main Meadowbrook Park lot on South Race Street. Please do not park in farm house driveway.
